LPG gas filters
The fuel used in gas installations has to be of ideal purity, which means that that all of even the tiniest contaminants that could damage the engine subassemblies must be removed from it. The durability of an installation depends above all on replacing the filter regularly and correctly.
The filters EXMOT produces are used in LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) and, less often, in CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) gas installations for cars. These are generally volatile phase filters. Their working temperature range is from -20°C to +120°C. By providing protection against contaminants they make it possible for the delicate elements in gas installations to operate properly. The diversity of requirements means that a wide range of materials are applied in these filters. They include cellulose, polyester and micro-fibres, and reinforced, pleated mesh.
